First time I 've ever felt relieved more than joy for our team. It would have been heartbreaking had they lost. Financially, her basketball game could pay some dividends.

Of course I'm hoping and praying for the best case scenario-- that it is something significantly less than the worst and LC can come back full force this coming year.

But if that doesn't happen, and she is able to rehab/redshirt for a complete year, and with the development of this Freshmen class, is there any doubt that in 2020-2021 we could go undefeated?

Undefeated doesn't matter. I expect every post grad transfer to be blowing up like phone. Can you imagine how much better anyone would get with Lauren talking to them
Every day in practice. ALSO, I didn't want to mention this during the season but now that it's over - I'm not against Mulkey coaching for another 20' years and Cox taking over after a stint in the WNBA and as an assistant for a Mulkey. She knows the game and is nothing short of a competitor fuse.

Speaking of future coaches: most know that Coach Kim is the only person to win NCAA basketball championships as a player, assistant coach and head coach.

Her daughter is now 2/3 of the way there.

The Lady Bears ventured out today to eat a fairly late lunch at TeJuns Seafood Cajun restaurant that has recently been built on 77 about 4 miles south of the circle in Robinson. Messer was corralling the team and keeping them organized as they feasted on crab legs and shrimp. Lauren Cox was walking around like nothing ever happened. She jumped up several times from the table and went scooting up to the counter to get something and if it hadn't been for the brace you saw on her leg you'd never guess she was injured at all.
