I don't know that we will understand the courage and tenacity that it has taken for Lauren to achieve consistently at the All American level we have seen - especially fighting her underlying illness. If I was going to war, I would want her by my side. She is the definition of a strong minded warrior.

I think there is a decent chance we get a triple double out of her before her Baylor career is over. I don't think she has done one yet (in college).

These two ladies' careers are prone to being compared, as they were the top recruits from 2016.
Holmes had a heck of a game, the first time they played Baylor - better than Cox - which is the last time UT beat Baylor (in Waco). Since then, not so much.
Cox has been significantly better in the last six meetings, including two games with 6 blocks and one game with seven.

Iron man warrior, iron man warrior. The very best. Hands down.
Lauren was extraordinary last night. One of the best games she's played in her career. So versatile, so impactful in so many ways. She put her imprint on nearly every possession, both offensively and defensively. She had 22 points, and that included 7-8 from FT line. She had 10 boards, but that doesn't count how many times she blocked out her opponent to create an easy board for a teammate. She had 4 blocks, but that doesn't count how many shots she altered or turnovers she created with her defensive presence. Her competitiveness and mental toughness were crucial in a very physical game. She's a force multiplier; the other players feed off her energy, and she makes them better. No chance we win that game without her.
Did she ever come out of the game? Definitely she was the bright spot last night in a difficult game. Really enjoy watching her play. She is such a great player.
Lauren played great last night. She was a difference maker.

For some reason I had her on the brain recently. I liked some of her music when I was younger although that is not the kind of music I usually listen to.
