My predictions are out!

I think @SenCortezMasto hangs on, @JoeLombardoNV wins in a squeaker and Dems retain two of three House seats.
But what do I know?
Spoiler alert: Everything.
Or is it...nothing? https://t.co/zwXnmqy3ov
They're basically calling the public hateful morons without realizing it, and somehow they think it's a winning message.whiterock said:

Half the country believes the earth is a few thousand years old and the other half thinks there are 500 genders. I'd agree that the public is at least moronic.Doc Holliday said:They're basically calling the public hateful morons without realizing it, and somehow they think it's a winning message.whiterock said:

Yup. It's ok for them to say that, but of course on my news feed this morning, I see editorials attacking Musk for allowing "misinformation" to be spread by Republican candidates on twitter.whiterock said:

The key difference is nobody believes the Earth is a few thousand years old ... but a lot of people and progressive leadership does believe there are 500 genders (I do not think most Democrats necessarily believe that but most are too afraid to contradict the narrative). It's definitely not the same.ron.reagan said:Half the country believes the earth is a few thousand years old and the other half thinks there are 500 genders. I will not consider the mail in vote count valid until a forensic audit of a large sample of those ballots is performed, where the person is contacted to verify they indeed did vote, and that their vote matches the ballot. This in addition to signature and eligibility verification.BearFan33 said:

This isn't being honest. Even if you think white Christians don't (a lot still do), it is still extremely common from 1st generation Hispanics and immigrants from Islamic majority countries. Perhaps you had an entirely different life experience from myself though.Harrison Bergeron said:The key difference is nobody believes the Earth is a few thousand years old ... but a lot of people and progressive leadership does believe there are 500 genders (I do not think most Democrats necessarily believe that but most are too afraid to contradict the narrative). Very different from my experience, I'm a Christian that believes spacetime is a projection of consciousness and cognition that is built up from self created metaphysical syntax/language of unbound potential which is the monad/god.ron.reagan said:This isn't being honest. Modern physics is finding out that spacetime is doomed, as in it's not fundamental reality and there's a strong possibility that reality is a projection of information or a syntax in the metaphysical sense. Some physicists are leaning towards consciousness/cognition being base reality.BearN said:Doc Holliday said:Very different from my experience, I'm a Christian that believes spacetime is a projection of consciousness and cognition that is built up from self created metaphysical syntax/language of unbound potential which is the monad/god.ron.reagan said:This isn't being honest. The fact that every known religion advocates controlling one's thoughts as paramount to its belief system bolsters this particular point of view.Doc Holliday said:Very different from my experience, I'm a Christian that believes spacetime is a projection of consciousness and cognition that is built up from self created metaphysical syntax/language of unbound potential which is the monad/god.ron.reagan said:This isn't being honest. The 2020 presidential election was rife with allegations of voting machine hacks that were later debunked.

Yet there are real risks that hackers could tunnel into voting equipment and other election infrastructure to try to undermine Tuesday’s vote.https://t.co/kDij1J08eU

Okay - forgive the imprecision. Maybe not literally no one, but no one of influence or power. Contrasted with a Supreme Court nominee terrified of acknowledging biology. Not even close.
