Ukraine can't keep making their own weapons and have enough fire power to resist long term. The longer the war, the better odds for Russia to "win."

Expect to see the Russian military go through rampant reforms over the next year. The 1940 Winter War parallels will likely continue, with the exception of more aid able to get to Ukraine than was allowed for Finland.

Moskva ....SUNK. Largest Russian warship to be sunk since WW2.

Huge morale boosting victory for Ukraine .

This sinking is going to have far reaching implications throughout the region . Expect even more volunteers will be entering Ukraine to fight the Russians .

The first mate, he got drunk
And broke in the captain's trunk
The constable had to come and take him away
Sheriff John Stone
Why don't you leave me alone? Yeah, yeah
Well, I feel so broke up
I wanna go home
So hoist up the John B's sail (hoist up the John B's sail)
See how the mainsail sets (see how the mainsail sets)
Call for the captain ashore
Let me go home
Let me go home
I wanna go home
Let me go home (hoist up the John B's sail)

and 'huge' if old and error prone is meaningless. the kursk accident comes to mind.

Yeah it was older, but it still had heavy weapons systems and was a force when it showed up in that area of the world. It's pretty significant.

In the Black Sea, it was a force. Maybe not in the Atlantic facing a Carrier Strike Group, but against the 2nd and 3rd tier Navies?

Ok, it was a 12,500 to piece of **** and it really is no surprise she was sunk. Although it is possibly the largest combat loss for the Soviet Navy in 40 years there is no positives that the opposing force can take from the engagement. Actually, they should be punished for not sinking the piece of **** sooner... Better???
