I used to eat at chipotle 1x-2x a month a couple years ago and it would $13 for a bowl with guac and drink. Now its $17 for the same thing. I rarely go there now and try not eat lunch out but sometimes when I go to my North Charleston office I have limited dining options.

Yep....I still can't get used to new fast food and fast casual food prices. I get sticker shock every time still.

We are the same. Used to go out every Saturday night, now we grill at home.

Can't remember the last time I went out to eat for lunch at work. Used to get a sub every Friday, too much now.

The prices are ridiculous.

One of my best friends does franchise sales for Jersey Mikes and owns 2 locations in the Austin metro. I was complaining to him about the price for sub, chips and drink being 17-18$ and he told me their costs on that went up like $4 in the past couple of years so it is what it is. At least Jersey Mikes tastes good unlike subway which is garbage quality.

Well....it looks like consumers are making it clear that a lot of them are not going to pay these higher prices. Something will have to give.

No worries. Trump will be sending tariff rebate checks soon.

My neighborhood needs no National Guardsmen. Everyone is packing. May use my Trump tariff "refund"check to buy more ammo.

Yeah, it starts with just the bad places...

Start with law enforcement. The Government is here to keep you safe.

Then it becomes checkpoints, usually controlling the intersections. These area are safe, so we want to keep them this way.

Then its too many unaccounted for weapons. Do not bring your weapons out as the Fed troops can't distinguish between you and bad guys.

Yeah, Federalizing cities is a good thing...

Really surprised how quickly the Government has not right in our lives people rolled over on Washington DC. Some even applauding a President for calling in Federal troops to neighborhoods.

Man, I am disappointed with your take on the National Guardsmen. Glad to see Trump taking some action on Washington, D.C. Deployment of troops into this s h !t hole city is a good start. Long past time to crack some heads. This includes 13 year old gangbangers. It is a temporary measure. Trump is not trying to take control of the country by deploying the military. Trump is sending a great message here. Either clean up your city and start enforcing the law or we will do it for you.

I can see the logic. It is a smart move if you want more control, who is going to be against fighting crime?

But, more Federal power is usually not a Conservative, MAGA thing...

Yet we have destroyed their constitutional safe guards step by step in the name of democracy.

It may have a correction in 26 but if they start dropping the rates it will add more fuel to the fire. I know I plan to sell all my crypto and some stocks by November.

The pain is coming from an overvalued market. I did read there is a lot of money in money market funds that may flow back into the market when interest rates drop. That may push it even higher. When the correction comes is the million dollar question. Why dump all your crypto?

I'm actually worried about a dirty bomb or something else going off that will shake the markets and start a prolonged downward slide. The cartels, other countries and the democrats are all losing power. A toxic mix of risk.

Well, I have followed crypto for 5 years now and bitcoin follows a 4 year cycle. The bear market starts around around 1.5 years after the halving event and that timeframe would be end of OCT-early NOV. There are other indicators and ths cycle could be different due to institutional adoption but I would rather cash out my gains that be stuck. I'm still deciding whether I need to sell all my bitcoin but I have a pretty good feeling that I will be able to buy it back under 100k in 26 or 27. The alt coins are going to dump back down to low levels like they always do.
