And which game(s) would you have been willing to lose to get her "more" game time? We were not exactly rolling out blowout after blowout. And she was a step down from those she would have replaced on the court.

For all we know she may still end up being on the team next year. But what I saw in the times she did play is someone that was not ready.

Let's be real. Lety wasn't coming back to Baylor. I'm sure Nicki Collen and staff have a plan right now on some potential targets. Nobody has a name right now to say. In terms of position probably another forward/center.

That is really disheartening to know. So, we couldn't close the deal. Not surprised, given SC's advantages in too many areas. But nonetheless disappointed...

Big miss, but going up against a coach who has had success with post players lately, including the best player in the WNBA was always going to be an uphill battle.

Not sure what NIL we're working with in WBB, but we need to invest most of it into a dominant post player, and guard next year.

We missed this time but we will hit it big in the future. My prediction: Over the next few seasons we will see a number of 4+ star athletes come to Baylor. I believe we will be a destination school for a certain type of athlete that fits the BU/CNC mold. They will get great coaching and some will become All-Conference or better. The program's trejectory will continue to rise, the question is how fast. Sooner or later we will hit on a generational player or two and that will lead to a trip to the final 4. Baylor is different and the sports world has changed but we will move from very good to great!

Just curious how Coach N is selling Baylor WBB to the #1 or the #2 player in the country and convince them Baylor is where they should play?

Let's be honest. Paurova was not never going to be at Baylor because of the amount of guards on the roster.

i think a player that is one of the top in the nation would have the opportunity to get us back to the final 4 national championship program. Similar to like a Juju but just not as long of a drought or not as bad of a drought. It just takes one yes for a bunch of other dominios to fall. I think with a lot of our guards leaving we could see this happening sooner rather than later. I think we give our players a lot of freedom on offense to make reads instead of running actual plays, that would expand a players IQ before leaving Baylor. Like just look at the way Bella talks about the game now compared to how she did coming in. That 2022 class really helped us stay afloat and not completely fall out of the conversation.

This is also a very upbeat and positive staff to play for while being excellent teachers and that will draw some. Baylor itself might draw some and I think in the next few years our conference will only get better and that will draw some too. Good answer above Bruinsbear.

Baylor is different, in my opinion, due to its ability to compete at the highest level in college sports while remaining true to it's Christian traditions. I am a life long Waco resident and I love living here. At the same time I know that many prospects will be drawn to the larger metropolitan areas.The fact that we are able to stay competitive and keep the needle moving upward is impressive to me. Baylor has a lot to offer to young people, I believe we will continue to draw interest from the top prospects and I expect that we will be successful with more than our fair share. I also realize that the changing face of college sports means we have to change with the times, but we also have to remain faithful to our ideals. I suspect CNC is proudly and confidently telling prospects that Baylor is a place where they can grow, on and off the court. It is a place where they can get a great education that will serve them well in all areas of their life.

Good point, when Edwards gets accumated it will be hard to keep her off the court. This probably will give SC the most athletic and deepest front line in the country. They will be able to go 2 deep with no drop off. Their backcourt is arguably as deep as the front court. Their biggest problem may be trying to ration the minutes so nobody feels cheated.Even with all that talent a three peat will be very difficult because you know they will get everybody's best effort every game.
