What gets me is how badly Repubs would have lost it had it been roles switched, a bunch of brown, black and Islamic people storming the Capitol. Repubs would be suicide bombing mosques at this point.
All things considered, Dems have done a good job at limiting themselves to some hearings and publicity stunts.
However, we did see a summer of burning, looting, and murdering with more than 20 people directly killed and more than $2B in property damage primarily in brown communities. Of course they were bailed out by VP Brown and other authoritarians.
The Democrats rioted after Trump's election, his inauguration, and this year have called for violence against the Supreme Court. That is an actual threat to democracy. Buffalo Man was not.
