So being escorted around on a guided tour is a crime and inciting a riot isn't?

Got it.
guided tour.???? are you freaking nuts? Have you not seen the video? Dude, you are insufferable and brainwashed.

You must not have seen the video, JR. The Shaman was most definitely escorted around by multiple officers….officers opened doorways for him…..etc.

Step away from the Shaman's shrooms and peyote! It is bad for you! clouds your brain!
Like I said, you are talking about a video you obviously did not see. The officers are on tape, for minutes helping him get where he wanted to go.....checking doors, taking him to alternative entrances to circumvent locked doors, actually holding the doors open for him to walk thru. Doesn't make what the shaman did legal, but does vaporize the idea that there was an insurrection going on.

The insurrection narrative is dead as a doornail, JR. You can keep sputtering about it if it makes you feel better, but it it's documented crackpottery at this point.

Yet the insurrectionists keep going to prison.

Jan. 6 Proud Boy rioter who approached Chuck Schumer sentenced to 4.5 years
Joshua Pruitt, The Washington Post reported, said at sentencing that he regretted participating in the insurrection.

they are going to jail for seditious conspiracy to commit insurection. There was no active attempt to gain control of the govt, only a plan..

They deserve jail for going as far as they did in the plan but it was still just a plan with no real action on the plan inside the capital building.

Yes the insurrection was pathetic with no real chance of lasting success. However it was a threat to the lives of Congress members and the Capitol police.

No real American wants democracy ended and a dictator installed, but had the insurrectionists somehow succeeded, thats what would have happened.

There are still morons here claiming the election was stolen. The zealots gonna zealot.

Again,

If even a few protestors that day had wanted to kill police or politicians….they could have brought semi-automatic weapons to the Capitol and have done it.

But they didn't.

come on dude, there was NO insurrection. What are you even talking about? You obviously didn't see the video and all the convictions and jail sentences are nothing but a figment of your imagination. Just ask Little Johnny

Your post and the weak attempt at sarcasm makes no sense whatsoever. Nobody disputes that convictions and jail sentences happened (some of them might've even been justified for the tiny minority of protestors who were truly out of line), but again there is clear video evidence that either you haven't viewed or you are too brainwashed and delusional to realize what you are watching (or perhaps just too dumb) that proves that Jan. 6th wasn't an "insurrection" by any stretch of the imagination. Grow up and open your eyes Junior.

Only if you ignore the fact that there was an insurrection going on.
The videos document conclusively there was no insurrection going on. Not one rioter, demonstrator, nutjob, criminal, etc.....lifted so much as a follicle of hair to seize political power. (that's why no one was charged with such despite a galactic overreach of overcharging by prosecutors.) The preponderance of evidence inside the halls of power showed respect, even reverence, for the Republic.

Trying to turn J6 into a Reichstag Fire hoax is beyond offensive. It's deeply injurious to social contract itself, not to mention destroying the credibility of those who push such narratives.

Officers opened the doors to the Capitol not to give a tour, but avoid bloodshed. There was an insurrection because the stated purpose was exactly the opposite of what you said. Seizing political power. Hanging Pence. Bringing vigilante justice to Pelosi. Throwing out the results of the election. Having the military "enforce the law" in a new election.

These were all things caught on record. Or do you really think every Washington DC tour ends up with selfies in Pelosi's office?
An effort to seize power? Where? Who? How? Who was in charge of the mob outside the building...inside the building? Who was in charge of the communications to get the word out to the world that a new regime had taken power? Where is their manifesto? Did the insurrectionists arrest anyone? Detain anyone? Convene any preceding to ratify a new constitution?.........(I mean, I could go on for about an hour about all the elements of insurrection which did not happen, because not a single one did happen.)

Your take on this is beyond irresponsible, designed to feed your own vanity.
Be better.

Oh cool, did you get the F15s and nukes like Biden said we would need?
"No, even better! We got weapons and stashed them in the next state!"
Oh, well are we going to just overwhelm the police and take over?
"Close. We are going to confront police and play tug o war with their barriers. Then once they step aside and usher us inside the capitol, that's when the plan REALLY comes together!"
Oh, are we going to take over and install a new administration?
"No, once inside, we are going to walk around and take pictures. Might even sit at a few desks!"
Okay and THEN we do the insurrection?
"Walking around while taking pictures and sitting at desks IS the insurrection. What else is supposed to happen?"
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Oooh. Some people said some stuff. That's what makes this an insurrection. Now I get it…

The stupidity of this type of framing is that even if they never breached the Capitol, they were already insurrecting the government according to you and the like minded.

FYI. There's an insurrection happening on Social Media right now. Better notify the authorities. There are records of it.

guided tour.???? are you freaking nuts?

And you know what that means
it means the defense could call in to question the trials outcome, evidence suppression is a crime. Every case the person who committed the act could be called into question. This is a serious accusation so by all means ignore it. I mean it did come from alt right wing media site Politico.

You're bolding what the WaPo framed his statements as. The word insurrection was never used, including by the judge, who referred to the riot and mob as a national disgrace. Riot is even used in the official court pleadings. All of this is available online.

And again, I give you example 621 of active narrative framing.

A lot of non-Democrats think it was a seditious conspiracy and the courts agree.

LOL.

words mean things, OSO. Seditious conspiracy is not insurrection.

Come back to reality.
From the #hump4trump committee
put down your voodoo doll and come back to the light. if you spend too much time in that closet, people will start talking.
Quit humping Trump and look beyond your little Trump adoration group.
Democrats want Trump to be the nominee. Why?
I'm not humping Trump. You are! LOL

I'm just pointing out that you are repeating obvious, odious, outlandish Democrat messaging about J6. So don't complain about how that stuff you're smearing smells when someone properly throws it back in your face. You touched it. It's your mess.
You gotta toughen up.

Why do Dems want Trump?

guided tour.???? are you freaking nuts?

Yet the insurrectionists keep going to prison.

they are going to jail for seditious conspiracy to commit insurection.

Why is it that they needed to kill someone? They thought they could accomplish their goals without guns, most of them. If they had thrown out the will of the people, the certified vote, what would it matter if they used words or guns?

1a prorects a whole lot of things. But breaching the Capitol to get Congress to throw out a federal election is what makes it an insurrection, going by the simple definition of the word.

Nice try, but it was the physical breach coupled with stated intention that made it an insurrection.

You keep arguing that there was some grand strategy by the protestors that day to seize power.

Yet then dismiss any evidence that would seem to show that these protestors in fact never had any intention of staging a coup or insurrection since they did not even come armed for the purpose.

Go look at historic insurrections in history...say the French revolution.

The Parisian citizens marched on Versailles with guns, pikes, and axes. Then took the palace, killed every guard they could, and took the King hostage.

Now that is an insurrection carried out by illiterate peasants without modern communication tools.

You think modern people in 2020 America would come unarmed if their intention was the "overthrow" the government?

People who can read a dictionary know it was an insurrection, and it matters because this needs to be a 1 time thing, not every 4 years. We need to be capable of accepting peaceful transfer of power. This insurrection was pathetic but the next doesn't have to be.

Imagine encouraging this under the veil of "it wasn't so bad guys just a tour and some selfies."

Oh yes I do. If we ever get a dictator it won't be guns that convince us, it will be lies, politics, and getting just enough politicians to shirk their duties.

Guns are dime a dozen here. A few thousand with guns is a joke. What would they have been so capable of if they had had guns?

It is you who are stuck up on guns and the lack of violence.

You don't seriously think the DC regime could lose power to a small group of fanatical MAGA clowns do you?

The left can't ignore riots across the country for years and expect the right to give a **** about a tiny mob of people trespassing into a building and construing it as if "we almost lost the country".

Those of us with heads put of our asses do play with our little dictionaries. It's almost like communication is important and it helps to use words correctly. But when you smear your own face with feces from your own pooper when you wake up every morning, I can forgive you for demeaning communication as a plaything. To you it is. Your reality presents some far larger issues than simple communication with other humans.
