Why did the committee never interview the Capitol Police Officer that radioed for help multiple times when hundreds of people were coming in to the capitol? There was zero response from his supervisor, who was later promoted by Nancy Pelosi. Then this guy gets fired.
And what about this Ray Epps character? Whos payroll is he on? Why is he being protected? Surely he was trying to instigate a riot.
What is police officer's name?

Epps story has been debunked by Epps. He is/was a Trump supporter who went to th Capitol in support of Trump claims.

Debunked

The theories surrounding Mr. Epps have been debunked before, most notably after he spoke last year to investigators working with the House select committee examining the Jan. 6 attack. During the interview, committee officials said, Mr. Epps said that he was not an F.B.I. informant and denied reports that he had urged protesters to go into the Capitol at the behest of federal law enforcement agencies.
Still, the rumors about him have persisted, becoming regular fodder for right-wing politicians and media figures.

Right-wing chatter about Mr. Epps, who is 60 and runs a wedding and event venue in Queen Creek, Ariz., began last spring after videos of him at a pro-Trump rally in Washington started to circulate online. Aside from the clip with Mr. Samsel, Mr. Epps was caught on video standing in a crowd of Trump supporters on the night of Jan. 5, 2021, urging his compatriots to "go into the Capitol" the next day.

Do you think Epps is a government agent?
Define agent. Is he a career FBI officer? No.
Is he a contractor working for FBI? Probably not.
Is he a contact FBI officers developed a relationship with in order to maintain contacts within MAGA?
Pretty obvious he was the latter, an FBI reporting source.

How could a guy be on multiple videos all day long all over the mall exhorting people to storm Congress and NOT get arrested? (when so many others who were not even at the riot were getting FBI visits in their home cities.)

Dude was was by any reasonable estimation a greater threat to constitutional order the the Bison-man. Latter is a nutjob. Epps, on the other hand, was an organizer.

Chansley broke the law. Epps didn't.

So being escorted around on a guided tour is a crime and inciting a riot isn't?

Got it.

Categorically incorrect. No judge reviewed Epps' case.

I have full faith and confidence that same judge would have found similarly had Epps been charged. But for obvious reasons, Epps was not charged, so the judge was denied the opportunity to show what equal Justice looks like.

Epps didn't.
well isn't that a novel opinion!
Not to the judge that found Chansley guilty and sentenced him.

Categorically incorrect. No judge reviewed Epps' case.

I have full faith and confidence that same judge would have found similarly had Epps been charged. But for obvious reasons, Epps was not charged, so the judge was denied the opportunity to show what equal Justice looks like.
Chansley was found guilty by a judge and sentenced.
Epps wasn't charged because he committed no crime (well, maybe trespass). You Trump guys made a fellow MAGA supporter the fall guy. He's one of you
Is this the post where you bunk yourself or is the one where you debunk yourself?

So the guy says he's not an FBI informant and he says he didn't urge protesters to go into the capitol (despite video showing otherwise), so there it is... because he says so, it must be true.
Operative words are "at the behest of federal law enforcement agencies."

Speaking of clouded brains, I had no idea another symptom of terminal TDS is the acute inability to realize that just because clear and obvious video evidence contradicts and disproves your narrative that doesn't somehow make it untrue.

Guess you learn something new every day.

Like I said, you are talking about a video you obviously did not see. The officers are on tape, for minutes helping him get where he wanted to go.....checking doors, taking him to alternative entrances to circumvent locked doors, actually holding the doors open for him to walk thru. Doesn't make what the shaman did legal, but does vaporize the idea that there was an insurrection going on.

The insurrection narrative is dead as a doornail, JR. You can keep sputtering about it if it makes you feel better, but it it's documented crackpottery at this point.

The videos document conclusively there was no insurrection going on. Not one rioter, demonstrator, nutjob, criminal, etc.....lifted so much as a follicle of hair to seize political power. (that's why no one was charged with such despite a galactic overreach of overcharging by prosecutors.) The preponderance of evidence inside the halls of power showed respect, even reverence, for the Republic.

Trying to turn J6 into a Reichstag Fire hoax is beyond offensive. It's deeply injurious to social contract itself, not to mention destroying the credibility of those who push such narratives.

New Evidence Undercuts Jan. 6 Instigator Conspiracy Theory
Recordings released to defense lawyers directly challenge assertions by prominent Republicans that an Arizona man named Ray Epps was a federal informant and helped start the Capitol riot.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/05/us/jan-6-ray-epps-evidence.html

Epps debunked accusations against himself? Ok

Tarik Johnson

does he need to link your post? You wrote it..

5, 2021, urging his compatriots to "go into the Capitol" the next day.
you posted to debunk your own post? Amazing

Got it.
guided tour.???? are you freaking nuts? Have you not seen the video? Dude, you are insufferable and brainwashed.

You must not have seen the video, JR. The Shaman was most definitely escorted around by multiple officers….officers opened doorways for him…..etc.

Step away from the Shaman's shrooms and peyote! It is bad for you! clouds your brain!

Speaking of clouded brains, I had no idea another symptom of terminal TDS is the acute inability to realize that just because clear and obvious video evidence contradicts and disproves your narrative that doesn't somehow make it untrue.

Guess you learn something new every day.
I have told you that the term TDS is just dumb and lazy.

Yet the insurrectionists keep going to prison.

Officers opened the doors to the Capitol not to give a tour, but avoid bloodshed. There was an insurrection because the stated purpose was exactly the opposite of what you said. Seizing political power. Hanging Pence. Bringing vigilante justice to Pelosi. Throwing out the results of the election. Having the military "enforce the law" in a new election.

These were all things caught on record. Or do you really think every Washington DC tour ends up with selfies in Pelosi's office?

Yes the insurrection was pathetic with no real chance of lasting success. However it was a threat to the lives of Congress members and the Capitol police.

No real American wants democracy ended and a dictator installed, but had the insurrectionists somehow succeeded, thats what would have happened.

It had zero chance. Not even a small fraction of a chance. Anybody who thinks they had even a .0000001% chance would be wrong.

If even a few protestors that day had wanted to kill police or politicians….they could have brought semi-automatic weapons to the Capitol and have done it.

But they didn't.
