How is she "excusing Socialism"? She is telling you what is happening. Do you go to Public Meetings at all? We are seeing an influx of young "Social Democrats" and that is how they introduce themselves at the podium.
If we don't give young people an alternative that works for them and saddle them with student, medical debt and then make homes out of reach, they will join these people. If the current system does not work or they think the system is rigged for the wealthy or "executives" most will turn to these groups. When groceries cost $200 a week for a family of 4, Socialism will gain membership
