Why do you use the Afrikaans-sounding "blecks" to refer to black Americans? After all, "blecks" in America would be African immigrants rather than native born black Americans. It is an interesting linguistic choice to use the pronunciation of "blacks" most commonly used by a group known for instituting a government based primarily on racism.

African immigrants do well in the US for several reasons. First, it takes a special kind of person to leave his or her home and go somewhere else. Second, African immigrants tend to have strong community support from other immigrants. There are, for example, churches made up primarily of immigrants from particular African regions and strong community leads to economic success. Third, and perhaps, most importantly, no one has told them that they cannot be successful.

However, African immigrants are not the primary means by which the racism-keep-blacks-down narrative can be refuted. The more telling evidence against racism being the major cause of poverty among some black Americans is the economic success of most black Americans.
