The loons are the ones who think that corporations have rights to global labor access that supersede the rights of citizens to have immigration laws fairly enforced.

What's going on at our southern border violates hundreds of laws across a spectrum stretching beyond immigration statutes, and a supermajority of citizens want it stopped. But up rides Quash in a white hat to kindly explain that anyone who wants to use existing law to impede corporate access to a worldwide workforce is some kind of fascist.

He probably coordinated that with them so he wouldn't have to implement it. Like proposing ridiculous bills they know republicans will never sign off on so they can blame republicans for nothing getting done. And it works every time. Hey, if democrat voters weren't morons they wouldn't be democrats.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Yes, that's how policy is implemented, the president coordinates with the previous president who has a Congressional majority not to pass immigration reform so that he can then coordinate with a specific local ACLU chapter to sue.

Or, and try to stay with me here, democrats could propose a bill that would actually work to stop the flow of illegals flooding the country so republicans would agree to vote for the bill. Crazy idea, huh? Actually proposing a bill that would work for Americans rather than just work to further empower democrats. What a concept.

Republicans had three different bills, achieving your desired goals in varying degrees, while they had Congress and the White House.

Do you remember what happened?

Yes,

The corporate and donor wing of the GOP is not interested in stopping mass 3rd world immigration (that sweet sweet cheap labor)

Yep. They did not have the supermajority necessary to pass any legislation they wished so democrats and a couple neocons tabled the bills.

some survive in the swamp better than others. Adapting to swamp life makes life easier for those in it regardless of R or D
