[I beg you to watch this interview he did with biologist Bret Weinstein, who just returned from a trip to the Darien Gap, the heavily forested "bridge" between South America and Central America. It is a treacherous jungle through which the migrants coming to the US from South America must pass. Weinstein, a biologist and a left-wing materialist by conviction, became a political and social commentator after he and his wife were driven out of their ultra-woke university by protesters.

I'm so grateful to the reader who told me I needed to see it. I'm not a big podcast guy, but this one was one of the most unsettling things I've encountered in ages. Part of what makes it so unsettling is that Weinstein approaches this topic with care and precision. He starts by saying that he's going to tell Tucker what he saw in the Darien Gap, and when he is offering his speculation not his observations he will make that clear.

Weinstein returned from his reporting trip believing that we are seeing both a mass migration and an invasion. He saw in the migrant camps there plenty of people from South America, fleeing economic privation, but also people from the Middle East, Iran, and China. How did those people join the mass movement? Through Ecuador, which does not require visas for foreign entry. They arrive in Ecuador, and start their journey north.

Weinstein and independent journalist Michael Yon visited camps in the Darien Gap. He says he was shocked to see NGOs everywhere, and the UN migration office. Says Weinstein, "The United States Government is facilitating this economic migration. It's unmistakable."

One of the camps they tried to visit is entirely Chinese and it was the only camp where they weren't allowed in by the Panamanian government. They weren't even allowed to photograph it from the outside. The Chinese migrants live separately from the general migrant population.

Weinstein and Yon approached these Chinese men when they left the camp to buy supplies. Though all the other migrant populations they interviewed were eager to talk, the Chinese refused. One of these Chinese migrants lied to Yon, telling him he was Korean, but when Yon began speaking to him in Chinese, the "Korean" spoke back to him. They all ended up laughing together at his blowing his own cover.

Weinstein speculates:

"The Chinese migration is actually being cloaked by the economic migration coming from South America, and that that is consistent with the observation that it has some different motivation."

What's more, he says, the fact that most of this really is economic migration (which itself is problematic) makes it difficult to talk about evidence that an actual invasion by enemy personnel is happening within it.
