I'm just citing history. Settled populations tend to be tolerant of new people, until too many new people arrive, then the settled population gets agitated. That's human nature. Political leadership is wise to avoid causing it. But, sometimes, people who think feel the way you do actually do cause it, so they can cite the completely normal backlash as an evil which much be extirpated.

Doesn't matter what color are the settled populations, or what color are the expanding populations. Too much change, too fast....is always a prescription for problems. Not since the Roman Empire has a social contract system been able to manage as immigration related pressures as America. So hats' off to us. But there is a limit to what a melting pot can handle. At some point, if uncontrolled, it boils over. And right now, we have stuff starting to splatter on the stove.

the got-aways are the ones we spotted and failed to catch. Never discussed are the ones who crossed and never got spotted. Straight from the lips of a BP supervisor to my ears: whatever is the number of apprehensions are, double it and that's the number of crossings. We don't even catch half.

Pastures in certain areas of South Texas are literally littered with debris dropped by illegals. On a property near a drop-off or pick up point....socks, kotex, spare underwear, ace bandages, empty water bottles....you can stand in one spot and see a dozen or more items laying the ground. I took a video of a game fence on the north boundary of our lease......on a five mile drive, at 95% of the fence posts wire was bent down 1' or more from weight of groups scaling over the top.

I do not leave my trailer after dark without sidearm attached, and lock the door even if I'm just walking over to the mess hall. If I'm not IN the trailer, door is locked. Don't want to walk into any surprises...... Illegals are not looking to do harm. They're just cold, thirsty, hungry, tired, etc......at considerably more than comfort level, occasionally existentially so. Season before last, one of our trucks found a teenage girl curled up at the front gate to the Alta Visa (Hqs) pasture of the Jones Ranch (325k acres). Frost was on the ground. She couldn't walk any more and knew someone would eventually drive thru the gate after daybreak. All she had on was a long-sleeved t-shirt. They had to carry her and lay her in the back seat of the truck. She couldn't walk or communicate.

Also season before last at a nearby ranch......one hunting rig got rushed by a group of illegals. Seems a few of them thought the truck was the ride, so started running toward it. The rest assumed the runners knew something they didn't, so they started running, too. Took a few shotgun blasts into the air to restore order.

USBP told one of my buddies not to call when discovering an illegal unless the illegal was in medical distress. Not enough resources.....

Not a lot of anecdotes from this past season. No birds, so no hunters, ergo no contacts. Illegals had the ranches mostly to themselves. It's been out of control for years, and look at what's lining up to come. Like the Sooner land rush....
