NONE of these migrants qualify. +90% of them will, should they actually show for their hearings, ultimately be rejected for asylum. Because they do not qualify for it. But they are here. Why do you say this? The perception of illegal aliens is that they work in low-paying jobs. Most people in the United states who work full-time minimum wage like get tax refunds that exceed their payments and will utlitmately receive social security benefits based on the amount contributed.

Do the illegal aliens also recived earned income credits that give the a net negative cotnribution to the operations of the government? Will they receive social security, Medicaid and Medicare benefits based on their social security contributions.

Actually, no, it wouldn't "otherwise go unharvested." It would be harvested by legal immigrants or by workers who were citizens or by automation that would allow for fewer workers to do the same amount of work. It would be harvested because the farmers would not get paid if they didn't find a way to make that happen and they are very resourceful.

Probably 20-30 percent of crops go unharvested as it is. If costs exceed the price the farmers can get, they're not going to get paid anyway.

I live and work with MAGA people every day. They're not caricatures to me.

Obviously farm work isn't the only work done by immigrants. The point is that they contribute to the economy and they're not going away as long as the jobs are here.

If you took the same population of average Americans and compared the amount of taxes they pay to the amount that illegal immigrants pay, you're gonna be off by hundreds of billions.

It's not about being against welfare, its about millions of Americans about to lose their homes due to inflation and we can't help them, but we can help illegals. It's not fair at all.

One of "our" problems is an aging work force. Illegal immigration may not be the best way to solve it, but it's what we've got until we can pass immigration reform.
