The Book of Boba Fett, was not included as an announcement during Disney's big investor day last week. Several other Star Wars projects, including two Mandalorian spinoffs an Ahsoka Tano show and Rangers of the New Republic

curious if Book of Boba Fett is actually Mandalorian S3?

The Good Doctor - S4. Still pretty good. Although I think they are taking him past the Autism spectrums that I worked with.

"Boba Fett is back. And his story is just beginning.

As teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the season finale of The Mandalorian, the legendary bounty hunter's journey will continue in The Book of Boba Fett. Jon Favreau, executive producer of The Mandalorian, confirmed today on Good Morning America that the new series is currently in production and will arrive December 2021, only on Disney+.

The Book of Boba Fett will be set within the timeline of The Mandalorian and star Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter, along with Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. Robert Rodriguez who directed Chapter 14 of The Mandalorian, a thrilling installment that reintroduced Boba Fett to the Star Wars galaxy joins Favreau and Dave Filoni as executive producer.

Boba Fett made his big-screen debut in 1980's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, becoming an instant fan favorite thanks to his visually arresting armor and cool demeanor. Jeremy Bulloch, the original actor inside the armor, passed away last week but his legacy, including all he brought to Boba Fett, goes on. The Book of Boba Fett will carry that legacy forward.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian will go into production next year."

Set roughly 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon stars Paddy Considine as King Viserys I a good leader whose reign still starts a deadly civil war.

Paddy Considine has been announced as the series lead King Viserys I, a King whose reign ended up causing the Targaryen-vs-Targaryen civil war known as The Dance of the Dragons when he left behind two rival claimants for the throne.

"Viserys was chosen by the lords of Westeros to succeed the Old King, Jaehaerys Targaryen, at the Great Council at Harrenhal," an official statement said.

"A warm, kind, and decent man, Viserys only wishes to carry forward his grandfather's legacy, but as we've learned from Game of Thrones, good men do not necessarily make for great kings."

While in December, HBO revealed that Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One) and Emma D'Arcy (Wanderlust) had joined the spin-off's cast.

Cooke, who is best known for her roles in Vanity Fair and Bates Motel, is set to play Alicent Hightower, the daughter of Otto Hightower the Hand of the King. "She was raised in the Red Keep, close to the king and his innermost circle; she possesses both a courtly grace a keen political acumen," HBO teases.

Meanwhile, Smith will play Prince Daemon Targaryen King Viserys' (Considine) younger brother and heir to the throne. "Daemon is a peerless warrior and a dragon rider who possesses the true blood of the dragon," a statement reads. "But it is said that whenever a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air"

Also joining the cast is Emma D'Arcy, an up-and-coming actress best known for starring in Wanderlust and Truth Seekers, who'll be playing Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen the king's first-born child.

"She is of pure Valyrian blood, and she is a dragon rider," HBO writes. "Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everythingbut she was not born a man."

But each story has an ending... we knew Ragnar would die as the history books tell us. Now the last battle of Bjorn Ironside...

btw - some questionable judging. Huge vs Hydra. Hydra came out with the gigantic garden rake. No weapon, boring!!! That should have easily gone to Huge. If I remember a few seasons ago, they outlawed nets, Surely there is something there in the rules about a defensive only prosthetic. Not to mention they broke the rules about letting the opponent go at least twice. Dude should be banned

Confirmed. Mandalorian will be back this year for more episodes. Book of Boba Fett is a spinoff series also out this year.

"Walker" - the reboot of the Walker, Texas Ranger show starts in a week. San Antonio's Jared Padalecki of Supernatural is the star. Filmed in Austin

Walking Dead has 6 more episodes in S10 starting in Feb. Next season will be it's last but there are 24 episodes. Half will be in 2021.

The Witcher S2 will be back sometime this year - with Henry Cavil.

Succession was a blast. It will be back for S3 sometime this year. High stakes, high money treachery, theft and a little murder - all in the family

For us sci-fi fans, Issac Asimov's Foundation series is finally coming to the screen:

Quote:

The Foundation series is a science fiction book series written by American author Isaac Asimov. First published as a series of short stories in 194250, and subsequently in three collections in 195153, for thirty years the series was a trilogy: Foundation, Foundation and Empire, and Second Foundation. It won the one-time Hugo Award for "Best All-Time Series" in 1966.[1][2] Asimov began adding new volumes in 1981, with two sequels: Foundation's Edge and Foundation and Earth, and two prequels: Prelude to Foundation and Forward the Foundation. The additions made reference to events in Asimov's Robot and Empire series, indicating that they were also set in the same fictional universe.

The premise of the stories is that, in the waning days of a future Galactic Empire, the mathematician Hari Seldon spends his life developing a theory of psychohistory, a new and effective mathematical sociology. Using statistical laws of mass action, it can predict the future of large populations. Seldon foresees the imminent fall of the Empire, which encompasses the entire Milky Way, and a dark age lasting 30,000 years before a second empire arises. Although the inertia of the Empire's fall is too great to stop, Seldon devises a plan by which "the onrushing mass of events must be deflected just a little" to eventually limit this interregnum to just one thousand years. To implement his plan, Seldon creates the Foundationstwo groups of scientists and engineers settled at opposite ends of the galaxyto preserve the spirit of science and civilization, and thus become the cornerstones of the new galactic empire.

Finished S5 yesterday. Good season overall. There were more "buildup" shows than I would have expected -- and one very surprising twist from the books (ep. 10). That left me wondering what they'll do around that in future seasons.
