Started watching The Terror this week on Hulu. Pretty good, I'm 5 episodes in
We have seen every episode. I thought it was well written and enjoyable. My wife reads 3-4 books per week. She reads the first chapter and then the last chapter. She does this so she can see how the story develops. I say this because she can usually figure out what is going to happen 5 minutes in to a TV show. This one and Longmire were two shows that stumped her fairly regularly.deemus said:
Finished off one series, Prime had In Plain Sight as the first option, so we have been watching it. Pretty good show. Its about the marshals who work in the witness protection plan.
Definately a show to watch after the kiddies are in bed and probably best to wear headphones...YoakDaddy said:Assassin said:not sure I have ever heard any script where there were more curse words than non-curse words...YoakDaddy said:WILLIS said:YoakDaddy said:
Deadwood. Started season 1 last weekend and watch an episode as time permits.
I'll start Season 3 of Jessica Jones very soon.
Doing the same with Deadwood. Had never seen it and with the new movie out, figured why not
I think they're pretty creative with the profanity LOL. I didn't know there were so many uses for the word "c$$ksucker".
I know, right?!?! Very creative writing (like Justified). I just finished all 3 seasons last night because fam has been out of town. How much of that story is true? I see that some of the characters were real historical people in Deadwood.
So much to like about that, really solid actors, then the hokiest bear ever shows up. And it becomes evident that this is on a soundsetbularry said:

BTW - the star of that show is the same guy as the scientist in ChernobylAssassin said:So much to like about that, really solid actors, then the hokiest bear ever shows up. And it becomes evident that this is on a soundsetbularry said:

I thought the same thing. Too bad "The Good 'Ole Summertime" predates our school song!munk said:
Anyone else catch the Baylor reference in the new season of Stranger Things? In one of the last couple episodes, the carousel at the fair is playing "That Good Ol Baylor Line."
No, I didn't notice--and I just finished watching it! I guess, I'll have to go back.munk said:

S3E8 about midway through the episode, Hopper and Joyce Byers are leaving the carnival and it is playing in the background.historian said:I could not find it.Gold Tron said:I thought the same thing. Too bad "The Good 'Ole Summertime" predates our school song!munk said:

Trying to take this one slow, not binge watch it, still 4 episodes in already.munk said:

my son and I are watching battlebots together... heis pretty hooked! Admittedly, i like watching tooAssassin said:
Battlebots.
I have been hooked since I first saw robots fighting using copper wire connected remotes, long before the first Robot Wars in 1999.
I could do with the nerd stuff, but its part of the game.
However, I would like to find out how much Faruq, the announcer, pays the show so he can do the announcing. YIKES!
My son introduced me to the show a couple of years ago and we watched it together for a while. He has moved on and doesn't watch it much anymore, but I'm still hooked. I keep telling my wife it's the best show on TV and she just rolls her eyes. I think Chris Rose, the play-by-play guy (is that what you call him?), is hilarious.Gruvin said:my son and I are watching battlebots together... heis pretty hooked! true on the sound set, but it isn't supposed to really be a bear.Assassin said:So much to like about that, really solid actors, then the hokiest bear ever shows up. And it becomes evident that this is on a soundsetbularry said:
