I'm not getting the booster as of now. Have an appointment in a couple of weeks with my cardiologist to determine whether my new heart arrhythmia is a problem or not. No way to know whether the vax caused it or not, but......

My mom, aunt and wife's dad have new heart issues

D-dimer test will show blockages in tiny heart capillaries but none of em will admit vaccines could've done such. One doctor that I have lunch with says thrombosis is a known problem, to him, associated with vaccines. I'd tell em "I have history of thrombosis in my family and they suggested I get D-dimer test to see if capillaries around heart are clogging/clogged"

Doctors won't test otherwise and probably not then but maybe you have doctor you've known that can help you

It's a shame we're here

I have a relationship outside of medicine with most of the doctors I see, and my cardiologist is a BU frat bro, so if there's a needed test I rarely am wanting.

Pfizer didn't release the virus. They didn't accept government money to develop the vaccine.
They aren't telling the CDC what to do about masks. They aren't telling governments what to do about vaccine mandates.

They developed a part of the solution to a pandemic through vaccines and therapeutics. They should be paid for their efforts.

Those are the dots. Can you connect them in a different way?

Vaccines help, but we need more information from S. Africa.
Vaccination rate in S. Africa is 24% so we won't know how much protection, if any, vaccines offer.
S.Africa is over selecting for the Omega variant because they are using PCR. The actual incidence may be less.
We don't yet know if this variant evades the protection vaccines give. If it does then natural immunity won't help either. I think vaccines and natural immunity will be found to offer some protection (let's wait and see).
